Jan Compton

Jan Compton, MS-HCAD, BSN, RN, CPHQ, serves as the System Vice President of Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention & Control at Baylor Scott & White Health. In this role, Jan oversees initiatives aimed at achieving the organization's vision of eliminating preventable deaths and injuries. With over 30 years of nursing experience at BSWH, Jan has held various positions, including Director of Patient Safety and nursing supervisor. Jan holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and is actively engaged in professional development through programs such as the Patient Safety Officer Executive Development Program.
