Vascular Surgeon

Jay Vasquez, Jr. is a highly experienced vascular surgeon with a professional career spanning from 2004 to the present. Currently serving as Chief of the Vascular Section at Methodist Dallas Medical Center since February 2020, Jay also has extensive experience at Baylor Scott & White Health, The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, and Surgical Associates of Dallas. With a specialization in vascular and endovascular surgery, Jay is recognized as a national PEVAR trainer for Endologix and director of the Abbott Carotid Stenting Course. Areas of expertise include limb salvage, minimally invasive aneurysm repair, vascular access, carotid stenting, percutaneous EVAR, and venous interventions, including the treatment of venous insufficiency and varicose veins. Jay's educational background includes degrees from Harvard University and multiple institutions within the Baylor College of Medicine, as well as medical training at the University of Connecticut/Hartford Hospital and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
