Kelli Smith

Kelli Smith, RHIT, CPC, is an experienced coding professional with a background in risk adjustment and health coding. Kelli served as a HCC Coder at Optum from August 2015 to June 2023, holding the position of Risk Adjustment Senior Coder. Prior to that, Kelli worked as a Coder II at MS Baptist Medical Center from May 2014 to August 2015. Currently, Kelli is employed as an HCC Coder at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama from April 2023 to October 2024 and has recently joined Baylor Scott & White Health as part of the Risk Adjustment team. Kelli obtained an Associate's degree in RHIT from Midland College.
