Kenneth Youens is an accomplished Pathologist and Clinical Informaticist with extensive experience in the medical field. Currently serving as the System Medical Director of Laboratory Informatics at Baylor Scott & White Health since December 2018, Kenneth also holds the position of Program Director for the Clinical Informatics Fellowship and Medical Director for both the Central Texas Biospecimen Repository and McLane Children's Hospital Laboratory from 2021 to 2024. Additionally, since October 2023, Kenneth serves as an Associate Professor of Pathology at Baylor College of Medicine, where the role includes directing the MD/MS Pathways in Bioinformatics at Temple. Prior experience includes positions as Director of Women's Health and Partner at ProPath from 2011 to 2017, and various roles at Duke University Health System from 2005 to 2011, including Assistant Professor of Pathology and Chief Resident in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Kenneth's educational background consists of an MD from UT Southwestern Medical Center, an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Auburn University, and a BS in Biology from Southwestern University.
