Maria Blazo

Maria Blazo, MD, has served as a Clinical Geneticist at Baylor Scott & White Health since June 2009 and currently holds the position of Associate Director for the Genetic and Genomics Pathway at Baylor College of Medicine's Temple Campus since November 2023, focusing on genetics education and outreach in the Central Texas region. Additionally, Maria Blazo has been a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas A&M Health Science Center since 2009. Maria Blazo earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Baylor College of Medicine between 2001 and 2004, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University from 1985 to 1989, and also attended UT Health San Antonio from 1989 to 1993.
