Meggie Gilstrap has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Meggie began their career as a Summer Associate at Baker Botts LLP in 2010. Meggie then worked as a Summer Associate at Mayer Brown in 2010. In 2011, they served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, followed by a position as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from 2012 to 2013. Meggie then joined Baker Botts in 2013 as an Associate. In 2016, they transitioned to Baylor Scott & White Health as an Assistant General Counsel, and later became Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in 2019. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President, General Counsel - JV and Provider Operations at Baylor Scott & White Health.
Meggie Gilstrap earned a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2008, earning a B.A. degree in English, Government, and Plan II Honors.
