Monique Hassan

Monique Hassan, MD, FACS, FASMBS, DABOM, is a Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgeon at Baylor Scott & White Health, where they also serve as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. Previously, Monique gained valuable experience as a General Surgeon with the US Army and held positions at Reynolds Army Hospital and Bassett Army Community Hospital. They completed a Clinical Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Texas A&M University from 2018 to 2022. Monique earned an M.D. from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, alongside a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University School of Business.
