Ross Blackstone

Ross Blackstone serves as the System Director of Corporate Communications for Value Based Care at Baylor Scott & White Health since March 2023. Previously, Ross held the position of National Director of Managed Care and Corporate Communications at Tenet Healthcare, where responsibilities included collaborating with C-Suite executives to strategize operations and communications aimed at patient advocacy and employee engagement. With over 15 years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas, Ross advanced through various roles, from Director of Communications to Senior Manager, focusing on issues-based and product communications, crisis management, and media relations. Other significant experience includes strategic roles at The Margulies Communications Group, Vollmer Public Relations, and in local broadcast journalism. Ross earned an MBA in Strategic Management from The University of Texas at Dallas and holds a BA in Communications from Loyola University New Orleans.
