Sarah Cantu has a diverse background in fundraising and philanthropy. Sarah is currently working as the Vice President of Donor Engagement & Experience at Baylor Scott & White Health, where they are responsible for planning and implementing foundation and philanthropy programs. Before that, they served as the Chief Development Officer at CitySquare, where they led strategic fundraising efforts and provided leadership to the executive team and board of directors. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Sharp HealthCare, including Senior Director of Philanthropy and Campaigns and Director of Development. At the American Heart Association, they worked as the Senior Director of Business Development and Director of Business Development, leading fundraising efforts and collaborating with healthcare leaders in San Diego. Sarah started their career as a Sales Manager at Hotel del Coronado.

Sarah Cantu has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Public Affairs and Corporate Communications from Southern Methodist University, with a field of study in Business/Corporate Communications/Nonprofit Management. Sarah also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. In addition, Sarah has obtained certifications such as the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Sharp HealthCare and the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Certificate in Fund Raising Management from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
