Doug Carmichael

Doug Carmichael is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector, having served as CEO of Commonwealth Bank Group Super from 2010 to 2019, overseeing the retirement savings of over 70,000 employees. They have held various leadership roles, including GM of Strategic Operations at Australian Administration Services and eCommerce Business Partner at Citigroup. Currently, Doug serves as a Non Executive Director at BT, where they chair the Trustee’s Risk and Compliance Committee. Additionally, they are a Director and Past President of the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce, promoting trade between Australia and Canada. Doug earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University in 1982.
