Augusto da Silva, MSc. Eng., is a Lead Network Automation Engineer currently working with BT Group on the IPVPN squad within the Global Fabric project. Previously, Augusto held positions at Cisco and Italtel, where they specialized in network automation and DevOps, contributing to significant automation solutions for major service providers. Augusto's educational background includes ongoing studies in Cybersecurity and a prior focus on Networks and Cybersecurity at Télécom Paris, complemented by a fellowship at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where they engaged in research on PID controller design. With expertise in Python, Cisco NSO, and NetDevOps, Augusto continues to drive innovation in network automation.
