Cathy White

Cathy White is a researcher with extensive experience in optical and quantum technology at BT since September 2011. Prior roles include a postgraduate researcher at Imperial College London from May 2008 to July 2011, and technical support and consultancy for data acquisition at Adept Scientific from January 2004 to April 2008, where responsibilities included diagnosing issues and handling RMAs. Earlier experience as a data systems engineer at Capscan Ltd (May 2001 - December 2003) involved managing database updates and producing product documentation, alongside work as an observatory technician at University College London (April 1998 - April 2001) where maintenance for telescopes was a key duty. Cathy White holds a PhD from Imperial College London specializing in quantum simulation of transport in coherent nanoscale devices, a 1st Hons degree in Physics from Birkbeck, University of London, and an HNC in Electronic Engineering from South Thames Technical College.
