Dean Smith

Dean Smith is a Technical Services Principal at Rolls-Royce, where they focus on large-scale network strategy, architecture, and design. Previously, from 2007 to 2021, they served as the N3SP Chief Architect at BT, overseeing the design responsibility for the N3 Data Network and related services. Dean also held positions such as N3SP Lead Designer and Network Assurance for BT’s N3SP Programmes. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Network Designer at NatWest and as the HealthNet Lead Designer for Hays IT. Dean earned a degree in Engineering from the University of Durham.
