Gerard O'Neill

Gerard O'Neill is an experienced communication engineer currently serving as a Senior Unified Communications Engineer at BT since September 2018, previously holding the position of UC Network Engineer. Prior to BT, Gerard worked at eir Business NI from June 2015 to September 2018 as a NOC IPT Engineer, responsible for providing second-level telephone support and managing customer infrastructure. Gerard's early career includes a role as a Service Desk Analyst, focusing on first-level support and troubleshooting. From October 2008 to June 2015, Gerard served as Assistant Manager at Toals Bookmakers, where responsibilities included financial management and staff training, while also providing IT assistance. Academically, Gerard holds a BSc in Biomedical Science from Queen's University Belfast, completed the CCNA Collaboration certification, and is currently pursuing studies in Data Science and Data Analytics. Additionally, Gerard completed A-Levels in Chemistry, ICT, and PE at St Michael's Grammar School, Lurgan.
