Jo Higgens

Jo Higgens is a Principal Enterprise Architect at BT, where they currently set the architectural strategy for the Mobile Network, encompassing technologies such as 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G. Previously, Jo worked as a Senior Network Architect at EE, focusing on IMS and Call Control, and as a Senior Technical Project Manager at Orange PCS, where they contributed to the IP Multimedia Subsystem. With 33 years of experience in telecommunications, Jo has established robust relationships with key vendors and actively participates in standards bodies, while also advocating for diversity and inclusion as the gender representative in their area at BT. Jo was recognized as one of the Top 100 Women in Engineering in the UK in 2021 by Goldman Sachs.
