Matthew Gilbert

Matthew Gilbert has extensive experience in the telecommunications and security sectors, beginning as a Lifeguard at SLM - Everyone Active from September 2008 to June 2013, where teamwork and First Aid expertise were critical. Matthew transitioned to BT in July 2013, holding various roles including Double Day Core Technician, Network Operations Retail Services team member, Consultant Systems Engineer for BT Security, and Higher Apprentice in Wholesale Broadband Connect. Currently serving as a UK and Global Obligations Specialist since January 2020, Matthew's responsibilities encompass network management, incident and event management, and contributing to problem and change management under the ITIL framework. Matthew holds a Foundation Degree in Network and Communication Technologies from University Campus Suffolk and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Network Engineering from University of Suffolk, graduating with First Class honors.
