Nick Smith is a Lead Consultant Specialist currently part of the PSBA TDA Team, specializing in passive and active DWDM transmission, including 400ZR ROADM deployment and design. Previously, Nick held various roles such as Technical Project Manager at M7 Managed Services, PSBA Solutions Architect at BT Global Services, and IT Manager at Murata Manufacturing (UK) Ltd. Nick's educational background includes an HND in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Plymouth and a City & Guilds in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Plymouth College of Further Education. Currently focused on refreshing PSBA's largest public sector network in Wales with a move to a 400G ROADM-based core, Nick has extensive experience in technical pre-sales and system design.
