Phil Hobbis

Phil Hobbis is a Principal Network Architect with over 27 years of experience in mobile telecommunications, specializing in designing robust mobile core networks. Currently at BT Group, they are responsible for providing architectural roadmaps and strategic direction for 4G and 5G networks. Previously, Phil held senior engineering roles at T-Mobile International, DTUK, and EE, where they led significant projects such as the design of data charging strategies and policy control architectures. Phil holds a BEng in Communications Engineering from Leeds Metropolitan University and a BTEC HND in Electronic Engineering from Leicester Polytechnic.
