Russell Johnstone

Russell Johnstone is currently the General Counsel for the Consumer Division at BT Group, overseeing legal matters for EE, BT, and Plusnet. They have held various significant roles at BT, including Chief Counsel for TV and Acting Head of Vision & Third Party Projects. Russell's previous experiences include serving as Legal & Business Affairs Manager at Sparrowhawk Media and Business Affairs & HR Director at Top Up TV. They also hold trustee positions with the Social Mobility Business Partnership and Social Tech Trust, and serve as a Non Executive Director at TNT Sports. Russell obtained a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course from Nottingham Law School and an MA in Law from the University of Cambridge.
