Stephen Werner, PhD, is a seasoned venture lead and strategy director with over 15 years of experience in corporate innovation across energy, telecommunications, and IoT sectors. They served as the Head of Commercial for Centrica's New Energy Platform, leading a team of 40 in developing a sustainable digital energy company. Currently, Stephen is the Growth Director at BT Group's venture building team, overseeing strategy and portfolio performance across multiple corporate ventures. They also hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Massey University, where they completed their Bachelor's degree with First Class Honours.
