Steve Cunningham

Steve Cunningham currently serves as the Director of Talent at BT, a role held since February 2017, where responsibilities include leadership across capability, diversity, engagement, leadership, learning, values, and culture. Prior to BT, Cunningham held the position of SVP HR Enabling Functions at Pearson from February 2014 to December 2016, and served as Group HR Director - Talent at Vodafone from January 2008 to December 2014, focusing on talent performance, resourcing, and diversity strategies. Early in his career, Cunningham worked as Head of Leadership and Best Practice at Korn Ferry and as Education Practice Leader at Hay Group, where notable achievements included revenue growth in consulting projects and partnerships for capability development. Cunningham holds an MBA from The Open University Business School and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
