Syed Hashmi

Syed Hashmi is an experienced telecommunications professional with a background in RF engineering and optimization, demonstrated through roles at Ericsson Telecommunications Inc. as a 3G RF Optimization Consultant and various positions at O2 UK and BT Group. Since October 2024, Syed has been serving as an NR/ESN LTE RAN Design & Performance Consultant at BT, specializing in mission-critical public safety networks. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Ericsson KSA, where Syed held the position of Senior 5G NR/LTE RF Consultant, contributing to complex projects such as the Hajj project and engaging in network design, optimization, and performance enhancement across multiple technologies. Syed holds an MSc in Telecommunication & Computer Networks Engineering from London South Bank University and a degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
