Vanessa Pillay

Vanessa Pillay is an experienced leader in service operations, currently serving as Service Operations Director at BT Group since November 2017. In this role, Vanessa leads a global team of over 2,900 individuals, overseeing the establishment and expansion of Model Office capabilities and simplifying incident management processes to enhance operational efficiencies. Vanessa has previously held roles such as Senior Manager for Europe Contract Assurance at BT, where responsibilities included managing service assurance teams for Global Enterprise customers. Prior to BT, Vanessa was Head of Operations at BCX, managing multiple service teams and ensuring aligned delivery across Business Units. Vanessa is actively involved in various leadership teams at BT and participates in the reverse mentoring programme. Education includes ongoing studies at the Gordon Institute of Business Science since 2008.
