Forrest Koenig

Forrest Koenig, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Equity-Linked Capital Markets at BTIG since July 2023. Prior to this role, Koenig held the position of Managing Director and Head of Equity-Linked & Convertible Securities at JMP Securities LLC from November 2015 to July 2023. Koenig's earlier professional experience includes working as a Gardener for a brief period in 2015, and a range of roles at Piper Jaffray from 2004 to August 2015, including Principal in Equity & Equity-Linked Capital Markets and Vice President. Koenig began a career as a Financial Advisor at Smith Barney from February 2001 to June 2004. Koenig graduated with a BA in Economics from UC San Diego in 1993.
