Gray Powell

Gray Powell is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity research and analysis, particularly focused on security and infrastructure software, as well as telecom sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at BTIG since January 2020, Powell previously held the position of Director at Deutsche Bank from October 2017 to January 2020. Prior to that, Powell worked at Wells Fargo for over 17 years in various roles, including Vice President and Director, covering a range of sectors such as wireless and wireline telecom, towers, data centers, and managed hosting operators. Powell began the career as an Associate Analyst in equity research at Wachovia IJL, specializing in telecom services. Powell holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from Wake Forest University, earned between 1994 and 1998.
