Samuel Coates

Samuel Coates has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as Managing Director of International Equities at BTIG since March 2021. Prior to this role, Samuel held the position of Head of European Cash Equity Sales Trading at RBC from 2014 to March 2021 and worked as a European Equity Sales Trader at Barclays Investment Bank from 2006 to June 2014. Additionally, Samuel's career began in corporate finance at Deloitte, where the role of Corporate Finance Manager was held from 2000 to 2006. Education includes a Chartered Accountant designation from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (2001-2003), a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from The University of Queensland (1998-2000), and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology from The University of Queensland (1996-1999). Early education was completed at Toowoomba Grammar School (1991-1995).
