David Nelson is a dynamic and transformative IT leader currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of IT Shared Services at Midland Memorial Hospital. With extensive experience in IT and Internal Audit, David previously held roles at Albertsons, Supervalu Inc., and St. Luke's Health System, where they directed enterprise risk management and managed independent Sarbanes Oxley testing. David has a solid understanding of enterprise-level security, ITIL, audit, risk, and compliance requirements, complemented by strong business and technical skills in IT Service Management and Process Modelling. They are currently pursuing both an Associate of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree at Boise State University.
