Rob Wilson

Rob Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning over different organizations and roles. Rob is currently the Director of Project Monitoring & Lender Services at BTY Group, where they lead a team responsible for providing cost and risk advisory services on construction and infrastructure projects. Rob has been with BTY Group since 2014, starting as a Project Consultant and progressing to Senior Project Consultant and Director.

Apart from their role at BTY Group, Rob also holds positions in various organizations. Rob is a member of the Board of Directors at Urbanarium, a platform for open dialogue on urban issues in Metro Vancouver. Rob is also a Committee Member at Arts Umbrella, an arts education center for young artists.

Rob has significant involvement with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), where they have served as a Governing Council Member and Chair of the Board. Rob has also been involved in important committees such as the Bichard RICS Review Steering Committee and the Levitt Review Steering Committee. These roles have allowed him to contribute to the purpose, governance, and strategy of RICS.

Additionally, Rob has served as a Director on the Board of North Vancouver Football Club, assisting in the planning of a new soccer facility. Rob has also been a member of the Education Committee at the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.

Earlier in their career, Rob worked at Maynard Marks as a Chartered and Registered Building Surveyor/Project Manager, managing refurbishment projects and providing expert witness services. Rob also worked as a Registered Building Surveyor at Kaizon Ltd and a Trainee Building Surveyor at Faithful+Gould, where they specialized in asbestos management and condition surveys.
