Phil Rabin

Phil Rabin is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering management and mobile development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Mobile at SoFi, Phil also contributes as a Tech Advisor for Bubbl. Previously, Phil held various positions at Uber from 2014 to 2023, including Senior Engineering Manager for the Eats Mobile Platform, where a transformative overhaul of native apps was led, resulting in improved architecture and user experiences. Other roles at Uber included managing the Rider Mobile Platform and New Mobility teams, driving team morale, productivity, and substantial growth in engineering capabilities. Phil’s earlier experience includes senior roles at Prism Skylabs, Vision Critical, and CBC, where innovations in web and mobile technology were instrumental in securing significant partnerships and funding. Educational qualifications include studies at Dalhousie University and a post-graduate degree in Advanced Web Development from Humber College.
