Benoit VALLON

Benoit Vallon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Benoit'smost recent role was as CTO and co-founder at Bubble BD (Heappi SAS) since 2016. Benoit was responsible for designing and developing the mobile applications for iOS and Android, as well as the private API and internal tools. Benoit also handled the integration of payment management and the connection with partner book sellers.

From 2016 to 2017, Benoit worked as a Senior JavaScript developer at eBay. Benoit designed and developed a new server-side rendering service using Node.js and Marko.js for eBay's recommendations, with a focus on high load and performance requirements.

Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they were a freelance web developer, working on projects such as the comics management app for Bubble, where they designed and developed the comics back-office database management tool using Node.js and React.

In 2015, Benoit attended the Recurse Center, where they worked on developing mobile, desktop, and website apps with the same code base, including a calculator app that could run on various platforms.

From 2014 to 2015, they were a senior web developer at PhotoBox, where they played a key role in designing and developing the new studio for photobook and product creation using web technologies. Benoit also worked on expanding the studio to support new product categories.

Benoit also has experience as CTO and co-founder at PageYourself, a web developer at UPblisher, SoundDeezer, and Noomiz, and as a project manager at FactSet Research Systems Inc.

Benoit Vallon completed their education with a Master's degree in Finance from IAE Paris - Sorbonne Business School in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from ISAT, from the year 2000 to 2005. In addition, they have acquired some additional certifications, including "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in January 2017, "Machine Learning" from Coursera in October 2015, and "Startup Engineering" from Coursera in September 2013.
