Bubune Africa is a supplier of unrefined shea butter. We work with over 600 women in Northern Ghana to produce our lightly scented, beautiful ivory shea butter for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries.
At Bubune Africa, we believe everyone deserves to experience the riches that Africa has to offer. This is why we have developed our supply chains to ensure the prosperity of the Ghanaian people. When you make a purchase from us, you can be sure that wealth of Africa stays in Africa. Your purchases help empower rural women who now have bank accounts through which they receive their wages and have been enrolled on the national health insurance scheme. These women who have now been grouped into cooperatives now earn 3 times more than what they used to earn working alone.
