Mikhail Parnes

Mikhail Parnes is an accomplished attorney specializing in healthcare litigation, commercial litigation, and cannabis/hemp law, currently serving as Senior Counsel at Buchalter since November 2019. With prior experience as an Associate Attorney at both Buchalter and Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld LLP, Mikhail has a strong background in civil litigation, business and commercial disputes, construction law, and state and local tax issues. Mikhail’s legal career includes roles at Barth Daly LLP, Avalara, and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, along with various internships and clerkships that enriched expertise in tax law and litigation. Mikhail holds a JD from the University of California, Davis - School of Law, and a BA in Philosophy from San Diego State University.
