John Watson is an experienced Architectural Projects Manager and Operations Leader, currently serving as a Regional Operations Leader at Buchan from 2021 to 2024, where they contribute to a globally acclaimed design studio. Previously, they held various roles at Buchan, including Associate and Senior Associate, from 2017 to 2020, as well as Head of Project Operations. Watson’s career began as an Apprentice Cabinet Maker at Apprenticeships Group Australia from 2000 to 2002, followed by a position as a Draftsperson at David Trease Design and Drafting Solutions from 2004 to 2007. They earned a Diploma of Building Design and Drafting from Holmesglen Institute of TAFE in 2004 and a Graduate Diploma in Project Management from RMIT in 2013.
