Renee Floresca is an accomplished educator and artist with extensive experience in theater and education. Currently an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College, Renee offers feedback to education students as a field observer. Additional roles include acting at Buchwald, serving as a Drama Teacher at Achievement First, and previously working as an Adjunct Lecturer and Teaching Artist at Brooklyn College and Girl Be Heard, respectively. Renee has developed curricula for various programs, emphasizing empowerment and identity through theater. Previous positions include Graduate Teaching Fellow at Brooklyn College, Diversity & Inclusion Specialist for Teach For America, and Individualized Education Plan & Special Education Manager at Bronx Park Middle School. Renee holds an MFA in Acting from Brooklyn College, along with dual Master's degrees in Special Education and Teaching from The City College of New York, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in History from UC Santa Barbara.
