Raf Leyman

Raf Leyman is the Regulatory Affairs Manager EMEA at Buckman, specializing in European chemical legislations, particularly in biocidal product regulations, REACH, CLP, and food contact legislations. With extensive experience in regulatory affairs since 1990, they have managed compliance projects, led a professional team, and built strong networks within industrial associations and authorities. Raf previously held positions at Betz, GE Betz, and Henkel Belgium, where they contributed to biocide dossiers and compliance schemes across Europe. A graduate of the University of Gent with a Licentiate in Chemistry and Biotechnology, Raf continues to engage actively in the evolving regulatory landscape.
