Dean Smith has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Starting from 2012, Dean worked at Sanderson as an Application Developer until 2017. In 2017, Dean moved to RUMM Ltd as a Developer for a brief period before joining Web.com as a C# .NET Developer later that year. In 2018, Dean joined W2 Global Data as a Software Developer before being promoted to Senior Software Engineer in 2020. In 2021, Dean started working at Bud Systems as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Scrum Master in 2022.
Dean Smith has a degree in BSC (hons) in Games Development and Artificial Intelligence from the University of South Wales. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in Scrum methodology. In 2021, they became a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) through the Scrum Alliance. The following year, in 2022, they earned the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®). Lastly, in 2023, Dean obtained the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance.
