Jia Wu

Jia Wu is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in data analytics and research. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Budderfly since January 2021, Jia specializes in time series prediction and anomaly detection using AWS and SageMaker. Prior to this role, Jia was the Lead Visualization Engineer at newhavenhelpwithcovid.com, where reports and visualizations were created for a volunteer organization platform. Jia's background includes over thirteen years at Yale University School of Medicine, where leadership in data science and engineering was demonstrated through the development of data pipelines for complex research projects. Academic foundations were built at the University of Louisville with a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Fudan University.
