Rob Jennings has a diverse work experience in embedded software engineering. Rob currently serves as the Head of Embedded Engineering at Buddi, where they lead a team and makes technical decisions for software development. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal Embedded Software Engineer at Buddi, where they recruited and built a team of senior engineers and played a hands-on development role. Their previous experience includes working as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Cogent ODM, a Firmware/System Architect at Onzo Ltd., and an Embedded Software and Systems Engineer at Signature Industries. Rob also has a long-standing tenure at NXP Semiconductors Southampton, where they worked as an Advanced Systems Specialist and a Systems Engineer on various projects related to mobile phone technology, TV for mobile, Linux in embedded systems, and telemedicine remote monitoring.
Rob Jennings attended Queen Mary's College in Basingstoke from 1989 to 1991, where they pursued A-Level studies in Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Electronics. Following this, from 1991 to 1995, Rob studied at the University of Southampton, earning an MEng degree in Electronics.
