Buddoo Books is an independent children’s publisher creating beautiful, thoughtful picture books that spark connection, conversation, and curiosity.

We publish stories that reflect the world children are growing up in and help them better understand themselves and others. Our books are designed to be read together, opening the door to meaningful conversations that continue after the story ends.

Founded by early childhood educator and former school leader Disha Mathur, Buddoo Books brings a deep understanding of children to every book we create. Through our Beyond the Page approach, we also develop resources and experiences that help families and educators get more from reading together.

Because reading together is just the beginning.
