Users can indicate on their profile whether they are looking for friendship, love/ life partner, or both. This allows Buddy Up to additionally function as a dating app for the disability community.
It also has a community chat where users can share ideas, opinions and suggestions.
Buddy Up allows users to search for connections based on age, location, interests, disability and gender.
It can help find friends for people with all disabilities and of all ages. 
Self users who are 18+ can operate the app independently. 
Caregivers can use the app to find friends for their young children, older wards, and can also connect with other caregivers via the app.
People without disabilities are welcome on the app.
It is free to download, available pan India in English and Hindi.
