Ana Lopez

Ana Lopez is a skilled architectural and structural engineer with extensive experience in design and research. Currently serving as an Associate and Designer at Buehler since February 2021, Ana has previously held roles including Structural Design Intern at Buehler, where responsibilities included performing calculations for various structural designs and compiling structural calculation packages for multiple states. Ana’s background includes research on the impact of tsunami and hurricane waves as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at NHERI and project engineering tasks at Bakkum Noelke Structural Engineering, reviewing shop drawings and assisting with city requirements. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego, supplemented by a foundational Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Arizona State University.
