Buena Type is a studio devoted to the craft and context of typography. We specialize in type design, licensing, lettering and wordmarks, typesetting, and advisory. Every project is approached with care, intention, and the belief that type isn’t decorative—it’s the framework through which meaning is shaped.

We don’t do everything, and that’s the point. We focus on typography because we believe in doing fewer things with greater depth. Whether designing a typeface or refining how your words appear on a page, our work is grounded in offbeat clarity, poetic utility, and quiet confidence that earns attention without demanding it.
