From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Auditor de TI at HSBC. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Analista Sr. Gestión de Políticas de Seguridad de la Información at Itaú. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at Banelco as an Analista de Riesgos, Analista de Seguridad Informática and Auditor de TI. Finally, from 2006 to 2007, they worked as an Auditor de TI y Procesos de Negocios at Price Waterhouse Coopers. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as an Administrador de Sistemas Informáticos at Mazars.

Ariel Presta began their formal education in 2001 when they attended Universidad Tecnológica Nacional to pursue a Técnico Superior en Programador de Sistemas. Ariel then continued their studies at the same university from 2003 to 2004, obtaining a Técnico Superior en Sistemas Informáticos. In 2006, Ariel Presta graduated with a Licenciado en Informática from Universidad Católica de Salta, specializing in Tecnología de la información.
