Hernan Cabral

Hernan Cabral started their professional career in 2011 as a Crew at McDonald's Corporation. In 2015, they moved to Cablevisión Fibertel as a Técnico de soporte a clientes, where they provided L1 and L2 ISP network support and used network management and monitoring tools. Hernan was also chosen to attend Professional Development courses, focusing on soft skills. In 2018, they transitioned to NCR Corporation as a Software Engineer JR, where they were involved in backend development using Django and Express, frontend development using AngularJS and custom ATM framework, and automation with Python. In 2019, they joined Glamit as a Back-end Developer, where they worked on web app development using PHP (Laravel) and Vue, as well as simple API development and Python scripts for data automation. Later that year, they moved to Mercado Libre as a Semi Senior Software Engineer, where they mainly worked on golang development, with some Java and Groovy of the payments processor gateway built with a microservices architecture. Hernan was also responsible for version creation and deployment, and on-call rotation, monitoring, and incident management using datadog and new relic of all the apps that are part of the gateway. In 2021, Hernan Cabral joined Buenbit as a Software Engineer.

Hernan Cabral is currently enrolled in Universidad Centro de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Exactas, where they are pursuing a degree in Ing. en Sistemas. In 2018, they obtained a CIS-INPD Implementing Network Protocols & Devices certification from patriciag@itcollege.com.ar. In 2010, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
