Beate Børja is currently the Avdelingsdirektør at Bufdir, a position held since 2025. Previously, Beate served as Seksjonsleder in school administration at both Akershus fylkeskommune from 2017 to 2020 and Viken fylkeskommune from 2020 to 2024. Beate has also held roles as a Rådgiver for the further education department and as Seksjonsleder at various organizations. Beate earned a main subject degree in Special Education from the University of Oslo and an MBA in Strategic Management from the Norwegian School of Economics.
