Vegard Thorstensen

Vegard Thorstensen has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Currently serving as an HR Advisor at Bufdir since November 2015, Thorstensen contributes to the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs, which focuses on providing high-quality support to children, youth, and families in need. Prior to this, Thorstensen worked as a Headhunter at Dynamic People AS from August 2014 to November 2015, where the agency became a leading executive search firm in Oslo. Additional experience includes serving as Sports Director at Nittedal IL Fotball from February 2013 to August 2014, as well as various interim consulting roles at Experis Norway and ManpowerGroup. Early career experience includes a position as a Bellboy/Night Porter at Grand Hotel Oslo. Thorstensen holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Kristiania University College, obtained between 2011 and 2014.
