Vishal Kumar

Vishal Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vishal began their career as a Cross-Divisional Systems Technology Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs in 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Alien Technology, where they designed and implemented a facility access control system and conducted firmware and hardware testing for an RFID reader product. From 2008 to 2010, Vishal worked as an Independent Engineering Consultant, specializing in software and hardware system design and development on a contract basis. In 2010, they joined Bug Labs as a Director of Engineering, previously holding roles as a Senior Solutions Architect and Sales Engineering Lead. In this position, Vishal was responsible for coordinating with customers to determine project requirements, designing system architectures, developing backend and frontend solutions, setting up and maintaining cloud servers, creating tutorials and documentation, and providing ongoing customer support. Additionally, Vishal has a background as a professional musician, serving as a drummer, producer, and engineer with experience performing in renowned venues and studios and specializing in Rock and Electronic Dance Music production and mixing.
