Birendra Sah

Birendra Sah has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. In 2020, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Islington College Kathmandu, where they were involved in designing network topology, preparing research papers, and supporting academic events. During the same year, they also worked at Vairav Technology as a Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing professional.

In 2020-2021, Birendra worked as a Network Monitoring and Troubleshoot Support Engineer (L2) at Websurfer Nepal Communication Systems Pvt Ltd.

In 2021, Birendra joined Bugcrowd as a Security Researcher, assisting more than 20 companies in securing their assets. Birendra achieved a global ranking among the top 400 ethical hackers.

During the same year, Birendra also started working at Thakral One Nepal as a SIEM/SOC Engineer. In this role, they gained expertise in deploying, managing, and monitoring SIEM solutions, detecting and mitigating security threats using various platforms and tools, and provided SIEM training to customers and colleagues. Birendra successfully implemented the LogPoint SIEM solution in commercial banks and development banks in Nepal.

Birendra Sah's education history includes a Master of Science in IT & Applied Security from Islington College Kathmandu, which they are currently pursuing since 2022.
