Bright Amankwah

Bright Amankwah has worked as a Security Researcher at HackerOne since February 2023. Prior to that, they also held a Security Researcher role at Bugcrowd starting in May 2022.

Bright Amankwah is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Information Science/Studies at the University of Ghana, starting in 2021 and expected to graduate in 2024. In addition to their degree, Bright has obtained various certifications in the field of IT and cybersecurity.

In November 2022, Bright obtained a certification in Networking Essentials from Cisco. Bright also earned a Diploma in C Programming from Alison - Empower Yourself in October 2022. Furthermore, in June 2022, Bright obtained certifications in Community Edition All-Star, Introduction to IT and Cybersecurity, Kubernetes Challenge, and Ransomware Ready from RangeForce. Additionally, in February 2022, they obtained certifications in Create Your Own Web Page, Git, and Javascript from IBM.

Bright's education and training in IT and cybersecurity also include certifications in Introduction to Cybersecurity and Introduction to Packet Tracer from Cisco, obtained in May 2021 and April 2021, respectively. Furthermore, in November 2020, they completed the course "Build Your First Android App (Project-Centered Course)" from Coursera and earned a Diploma in Python Programming from Alison - Free Online Learning.
