Bruno Silva

Bruno Silva has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Bruno is currently working as an Application Security Engineer at Ascendi since January 2021. Prior to this, Bruno was a Capture the Flag player at Hack The Box, starting in October 2019. Bruno also worked as a Security Researcher at YesWeHack, HackerOne, and Bugcrowd, starting in March 2020, December 2019, and December 2019 respectively. Bruno has also participated as a Capture the Flag player at TryHackMe from June 2020 to September 2021. Before venturing into cybersecurity, Bruno worked at Decathlon Portugal as a Leader in Sports Practice from June 2017 to July 2019, and as a company representative from June 2016 to July 2019. Bruno also had a summer internship at Continental in July and August 2015.

Bruno Silva's education history begins with obtaining a Licenciatura degree in Engenharia Informática from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. Afterward, they pursued further education at ISEP Academy, where they completed a CCNA Routing and Switching program from 2018 to 2020. In the same academy, they also obtained a Certified Ethical Hacker certification in 2020.
